During his diving career he had the opportunity to dive and explore mare than 600 miles of the West Coast and the Islands of Haida Guai .
With more than 3000 hours underwater and 25 years of living and working aboard boats, Dale now expresses his love for the ocean and it’s inhabitants through his paintings and writings.
“I Otter” is the first in a series of soon to be published illustrated stories about the freedom and rewards of the sea lifestyle and Dale’s personal adventures.
He presently resides in Powell River, BC, with his soulmate and life partner, Susan, who has been the enriching encourager of his art and life’s pursuits. Together they now share a land home that is mostly an art studio and workshop space with an available guest suite for travelers.
