We are looking into a workshop on ebooks in the future. Ebooks, and technology in general are the way of the future even though we will always love the feel of a paper book in our hands. There is great momentum in the new board, and we are seeking some new directions. Though Barb may silently fret over the conference that was once hers, providing the capacity for success is at hand! I am excited about the new board, and the grant-seeking, input-requesting ideas we are working on. Though Barb may seem a bit deflated - rightly so, she is EXHAUSTED - the rest of us are continuing on at her pace! Thank you to all for the support and belief in me to lead the charge. That's the house with the vertical chains of copper flowerpots hanging as decorations, and the small greenhouse up on bricks, in the front yard. Ivan Coyote held a workshop there a year or 2 ago. I understand the rent is reasonable and, while Dwight Hall is big and pretty, the acoustics are not very good.
